We're getting a Face Lift. 

We're almost ready to unveil it, but we are so excited we just had to share it with you guys.  Bebb Studios is going to have a completely different presence on the web.

For one thing, we're separating the Bebbinars from Bebb Studios - the Bebbinars are getting their very own blog and we have some big things planned.  One of the ideas we can't wait to implement is studio profiles:  each month we'll be taking one studio that attended a Bebbinar and see what kinds of changes they have made as a result. 

We're also going to have a special, bebbinar alumni only section where there will be follow up activities, ideas and plans for our alumni to take part in.  A Bebbinar is truly a never ending experience and we can't wait to get that up and running.

The next big change will be in this blog.  The good folks over at Flosites have a new Bebb Studios blog in the works and we are so excited to get it online.  We have been really happy with this blog, but we wanted to make something that was even more us.  So Ross and his team are working like crazy to roll out the new and improved Bebb Blog.

And then there is the website - there are some big changes coming there too.  Those are completely under wraps for the moment, and our ideas will probably be rolled out in phases.  Trust me, you'll know when it's coming.

Another Amazing Bebbinar 

Atlanta was all we had hoped for and more.  We have some amazing stories to share about the Atlanta Bebbinar, but we're going to save those for the new Bebbinar Blog.  For now, to get your Bebbinar fix, pop over to Leslie Gilbert's blog and get a small taste of a Bebbinar down in the South.  

I will just quickly say that I had grits for the first time while I was in Atlanta...yeah, I did.  We'll tell you that story and more when the new blog launches.

For the first time ever, Steve and I submitted images in the annual WPPI 16x20 Awards of Excellence Competition.  I'm sure that most of the photographers that read our blog know what these are, but for those of you non-photographers out there, the WPPI Awards of Excellence are a judged competition that is held annually at the WPPI convention in Las Vegas.

We had hoped to arrive in Vegas in time to watch the process, but we unfortunately, weren't able to see any of it.  So we waited, and wondered how many of our prints actually "hung".  Only images that are awarded an Accolade of Excellence (a score of 80 or above) actually hang for the convention attendees to see.  It's a very humbling experience to walk the rows of stunning images and realize that your's are actually hanging among them.

Here are the images that were awarded Accolades of Excellence (in no particular order):

The Bebbinars are almost here!  We are so excited about the cities we're getting ready to visit, the people we're going to meet and the experiences we're going to have.  There is such a great group of people in each and every city so far!

We still have a few seats available in each city - not many, but a few.  These are the only Bebbinars we have scheduled for North America this year...the next set is going to be in Australia and New Zealand.  So, if you're waiting for us to announce new dates, stop waiting!!!

For those of you that still don't know what a Bebbinar is...here are some details:

The second day is all about our craft.  Working in small and large groups, we're going to leave it all on the table.  Light, locations, posing, composing, supplemental light, workflow, photoshop....we cover it all.  At the end of this day, you'll be shooting smarter, seeing light in different places and cutting your production time down considerably.

We wrap it up with the one on one time that really solidifies the lessons we teach.  Targeted solutions for YOU - answers to your questions and a plan for your studio.  

Two and a half days with the Bebbs - we eat every meal with you, stay up late chatting with you, and hold nothing back.  You ask and we'll answer.  

We ask only two things of you: leave your egos and excuses outside the door and, when it's all over, go home and do it!
