Blog Slacker
I was chatting with Jessica Claire yesterday and she told me I'm a blog slacker. She is an amazing blogger. I don't know if she does it everyday, but she blogs often enough that I find something new every time I visit. So, in the spirit of no longer slacking on the blog, I'm going to make an effort to blog more than once a week.
Some of you may remember a blog post from a while ago about a project I took on with our youngest son's preschool. In truth, I just got tired of the same old school portraits that they've been doing since I was a kid. I finally decided to do something about it. I spent several days in each preschool class (the 3 year olds and 4 year olds) observing the kids to get an idea of what activities they do, who they hang out with and to make sure they were comfortable with me. Then I brought my camera in with me and we had some fun!
I can't show you too many of the images as none of the parents have seen them yet, but here are a couple to whet your appetite:
This little girl has the best smile ever!
Hanging around on the monkey bars (do you ever wonder why they're called monkey bars?):
And the last one for now...
This has been a really great project and I wanted to quickly thank all the families that participated. It's kind of bittersweet knowing that this chapter in our family's life will end next week, but we're all really excited to make the move to the "big school".
